Collapse code in Ilogic not working

I'm having some issues with the collapsable code in Ilogic. I use '[ at the beginning of the code and '] at the end of the code, this has always been working perfectly, but now suddenly I'm having some problems with it. I add it to my code and it will work perfectly, I close the rule, open it again, and the plus sign to collapse text is gone. If I edit something within the collapsable region, it reappears. But when I close and open the rule again, it's gone again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but this is a very annoying problem.

Hi @mat_hijs,

What version of Inventor are you using? That would help people try to reproduce the issue.

@JaneFan,

Can you please look into this issue?

This is not what I was talking about, but I did have these issues too while trying to have multiple sub regions. The issue I had is that I don't even see the + or - sign to collapse.

I think I know what you're experiencing.  I have seen that the Brackets seem to loose functionality every now and appear broken.  Simply adding any character, even a space, to any line seems to refresh the brackets and let you collapse them again.  I think it's a bug, but when it happens to me I usually just space then backspace in the top line and everything returns to normal.

Exactly what I'm experiencing. I'll try to make some screenshots tomorrow.

I attached some screenshots of the code I'm having issues with. Screenshot 1-4 are the code as it is, Screenshot 5-8 is the same code, but I edited the name of the first region. The collapsable regions are working again, but this doesn't seem to always work, so it wouldn't be as simple as just saying add or delete a space and everything is fine.

Hi @mat_hijs ,

Thanks for the screenshots. I tried with several cases but seems it is not reproducible to me. I will report it to the team and see whether there is something we can do.

Would it be helpful if I sent you the assembly with the issues?

I'm not sure what causes it, I'll be working in an assembly building a rule to control part dimensions and every now and then the collapsable formatting will gray out and the text in the rule has to be updated with a character input and everything is good again.  It's hard to reproduce because it happens on and off with different rules in different assemblies, at a fairly uncommon rate.

Hi @mat_hijs ,

Yes, it can definitely helps if there is model with which issue can be recreated. Please share the file if it is convenient for you. Thanks.

@J-Camper ,

Thanks for reporting in detail. We will keep an eye on it and see whether there is some key step to make it happen and get it fixed then.

Here is the assembly in which I'm having issues with collapsing Ilogic code. I also attached my custom content center library because most parts come from the content center.
