Code for generation of drawing sheet with dimensions from part using ilogics

Hi,

I created a parametric model using ilogics. Now i need to generate drawing sheet with all views and critical dimensions(only few required dimensions) from part itself without opening a new idw file.I have gone through some codes but i could not do it.

Can anyone show full code for this if that option is available?

Hi,

Currently inventor ilogic do not contains simple way how to do it. You have to use API calls for that.

I recommend to create new idea on idea station (if it is not already created).

It sounds like reasonable ilogic requirement.

Hi,

I have that hard code, but I'm sorry its credential. 

Tips:

1. Try learn about DrawingCurve (How to identify each drawing curve)

2. Try how to learn create each  dimension with difference type of dimension base on selected drawing view) in each VIEW.
