Changing the length of a product in 3d-modell

Hey,

I use Autodesk Inventor professional 2019 so I wonder if there is a way to be able to change the length of a product in 3d-model eg. by mabye pull it, instead of going into the sketch to do it.

For example, I want to change the length of a rod from 100-300 mm in 3d model. How i do that?

Best regards,

I personally love the parameters window. In my image below it is named "d1" which is the default naming scheme. You can rename the parameter in the parameter window after it's created or you can name the parameter by typing "myVarName=100mm" from the text box when creating it to make them easier to find.

Parameters can be found under Manage tab>Parameters>Parameters the icon is an "fx" because you can also input formulas or functions in stead of hard numbers (ie. d1=d0*4)

As far as dragging the length of a part you can do it if you're editing the feature (by dragging the directional arrow) but at that point you may as well type the length/size you want.

If I've helped you, please help me by supporting this idea.
