CHANGE/REPLACE COMPONENT FROM CONTENT CENTER WITH iLOGIC

Hello community,

I would like to submit this problem to you.

I have an assembly containing several pipes from the centre, the part was created as a part and published with the pipe length parameter editable.

My need is to change the length of some of them, not all of the assembly.
If the measure is already present in the library the component is replaced, if it is not present a new element is created.

Can anyone help me with this?

You can use these iLogic snippets to place content center components: 

If a component already has the same name in the browser it will replace that component, if not it will place a new component.

You can always place a component manually and then in the iLogic editor right click on it and capture current state to help identify the arguments you need to place it:

thanks for your reply.

This command could be helpful but doesn't resolve my problem.

I'm trying to explain better with an example.

i have an horizontal cable duct and a vertical one.

my two parts are called CANALA.... "1000" is the parameter lenght and also "500".

What a want to do is create two parameters called HORIZONTAL_DUCT and VERTICAL_DUCT and manage the components 

If the parameter that i will insert in the user parameter is already created in the content center , the ilogic replace the component

If the parameter is not present in content center , ilogic create a new CANALA...."new lengh parameter"
