change Ø of taraudage

hello all,

to day if your create a taraudage you have Ø-pas  exemple M8 = 6.647 in inventor.

but my FAO don't like this.

it's possible to change a representation ? M8=8mm ?

Hi.

First of "Inventor Customization" is a forum for coding. This question belongs to "Inventor General Discussion".

Second, enable "show thread" in the view options and you can place dimensions on the thread.

Then you can remove the "M" in the dimensions editor.

because my FAO use stp model and for M8 my FAO want Ø8 not 6.647mm

Why would he even want that? The real dimension of inner M8 IS 6.647 mm. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, since the thread feature can't be exported to STEP, you can just change it to a standard hole with 8 mm diameter.
