Hi everyone,I’m trying to automate the process of adding dimensions to part drawings in Autodesk Inventor using iLogic. The goal is to generate a .dwg or .idw drawing with views and automatic dimensions (length, width, etc.) right after creating the part — ideally without having to place dimensions manually every time.
Has anyone implemented this?
Is there a reliable way to:
Automatically place base and projected views (top, front, side)?
Add linear or baseline dimensions to key edges or geometry?
Use iLogic to apply a consistent template and export the drawing as DWG and PDF?
Any examples or best practices would be appreciated.
