Auto Resize View to Fit Sheet

Hi there Autodesk employees and Inventor Users around the world

I am in the process of automating my drawing to an excel spreadsheeet. I am trying to find a way to also automate the scale of the view so that it fits onto the same area of the drawing sheet,
whatever I change the parameter of the model to.

Is there a way of doing this standard out of the box Inventor, or do I have to use Ilogic. If I have to use Ilogic, do I have to learn how to use Ilogic, or can I just learn how to run Ilogic and use an already written Ilogic programme?

This is not out of the box but with some iLogic or/and a VBA Macro it shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm not too sure how to do this in pure iLogic - Using also VBA I would put a rule with a trigger on part geometry in your part, then make this rule call a macro that resizes the view. For the macro I would enter all scales you want to use in a array (i.e {1:1, 1:2, 1:3}), start at the biggest and see what the first scale is that makes a the view height/width smaller than the sheet height/width.

i don't know how to use any of what you have said, VBA, ilogic or macros.

How can I get a solution?

Can I maybe post my drawing with a more detailed explanation,

and ask somebody to write me a solution, that I can use.

Then I can use that solution as a start to understanding how ilogic, vba or macros work,

and possibly  studying them further.

I'd suggest first learning and trying and then asking for help..
