I've been looking into create a Custom Library of Content Center fasteners so that these can be setup to auto populate the BOM with the verbiage we want to use instead of the Inventor standard. I'm having trouble getting the Family Description to pull info from Parameters so that the Thread Description and length will auto populate when we insert the BOM.
Some options I've been trying:
={THREADDESC} HHB x {NLG} LG.
=<THREADDESC> HHB x <NLG> LG.
=<THREADDESC> HHB x <d0> LG.
=<THREADDESC> HHB x <Nominal Length> LG.
etc etc etc
I'm trying to get the fastener to appear in the BOM as 1/4-20 UNC HHB x 1/2" LG. But it seems/acts like it wants to pull this info, but it will show up blank. Is this even possible?
