Assemblies made of iParts

Does anyone know of a way to have an "iAssembly"?
An assembly that is made up of a couple of iParts.
I would like to add some common used bought parts to my iParts libraries but some of these consist of more than one part (ie nut and bolt combination). Would like my users to be able to insert a component per the manufacturers part number as in a regular iPart but it drive a sub-assembly placement.

Have you considered an assembly template that contains multiple iparts? I have been toying with the idea but haven't spent enough time to work out all the bugs. I like this method because I can tag the assembly with a job number designation and change the position relation between iparts. A true i-assembly may have library like limitations on moving and changing relationships.
