API support for Datum Identifier

Hi Autodesk

Is it possible to have Datum Identifier object exposed in the future API. At the moment(2016 version) it doesn't appear to be supported.

Please request this on the Inventor Idea station:

Perhaps using using a leader with a skectched symbol will help. This example in the help demonstrates a leader with a sketched symbol.

Public Sub AddSymbolWithLeader()

I did a quick test by creating a sketched symbol that looks like a Datum Identifier. Seems ok to me but not sure if it can meet your requirement.

Yes, it would work as a workaround.
