Add Linear Dimension

I have used the snippet for creating linear dimensions and used the Origin planes of (2) parts, but a face and origin plane of another part. In the image below, the 5" dimension is using the outside face and post origin plane, set with offset values of 0,0. But, the 7ft dimension is placed using (2) origin planes, with the same offset value 0,0. But they don't match up??? It's like the origin planes have the dim floating and are not pulled from the same bounding box as the 5" dimension. Any ideas?

The bottom most point on the 'outer face' and the bottom most point on the 'origin plane' may simply be different.  Origin planes in Inventor are actually WorkPlanes, and therefore actually have a 'size', even though a regular Plane is technically infinite.

I figured that it was grabbing that overlapped distance from the included "origin plane". I was hoping to use the origin since they already exist and not have to add some other named entity to accomplish this lol.
