Hi,

 

I'm getting the following errors while trying to solve in Autodesk NIC 2016

 

WARNING S1125: UNABLE TO OBTAIN A LICENSE FROM THE LICENSE MANAGER

 

WARNING S1124: OPERATING IN DEMO MODE

 

FATAL ERROR T2232: GRID POINT LIMIT EXCEEDED.

 

Kindly suggest me how to troubleshoot the same.

Hi Pavan.EDS,

 

This can happen when Nastran In-CAD isn't able to validate the license. I've seen this happen on another customers machine, and we noted that if he restarted the machine running the license manager, then nastran would run. The issue turned out to be that the Autodesk License Manager was not configured to run as a service. To fix this open LMTOOLS and go to Config Services tab, insure that both the Use Services and Start Server at Power Up options are checked. If they aren't checked:

  1. Go to Stop/Start/Reread tab and click Stop Server
  2. Go to the Config Services tab and check Use Services and Start Server at Power Up
  3. Click Save Service and select Yes at the confirmation prompt
  4. Go back to the Stop/Start/Reread tab and slick Start Server
