Spring Displacement Visual issue

Hi,

• Inventor Nastran 2022.1.0.143
• Linear static analysis
• Springs are created between 2 points.
• points are connected to split surfaces using rigid connectors
• vertex data mesh controls are applied to the points to connect the spring end points to the FEA model

Deformation scale is set to Actual. Total dispalcement is correct giving the load, spring stiffness and pivoting constraint applied to the 2nd hole/pin. 

One of the springs (see figure below) is moving in opposite direction of the other springs and actually apposite direction of the FEA model general displacement.

Yes, I have seen some weird visualisation of springs in the past too. Although the results were correct I never solved the issue with the spring visualisation. At that time I felt like it was only related to that specific model. I’ll have a look at yours too to see if it’s not related to your software/version.

I ran your model without changing anything. I used the same version of Nastran (2022.1.0.143).

Results seems to be okay.
