Problem with mesh on bending tube

Inventor Nastran 2025.2.0.60 does not generate mesh for pipe as in attachment. Where is the problem?

Hi Wlodzimierz.

The last feature in the model (the split that cuts the end of the tube) is the problem. Even Inventor doesn't like the surface when I tried to delete the end face and heal the model.

Even if the mesh would work, the element shape would not be very good at the "points" on the tube. My suggestion is to make the surface used to cut the solid a little larger so that the "point" is not as sharp. For example, make Sketch8 47 mm diameter and extrude it to cut the end of the pipe.

You can also use the Delete Face feature as John is showing without the Heal option. Then use the Patch feature to create a new face and finally use the Stitch feature to create a Solid again. After that a mesh could be build. See attached ipt file.

I worked a bit on this model and got similar results. After fixing the pipe end I saved it to a step file and after reopening the step file the mesh creation problem was solved. Thanks for your support and Happy Christmas
