Parabolic meshing fails

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to mesh a model, where the use of linear tetrahedrons works, but meshing with parabolic ones fails. I am using identical mesh parameters. Sadly, I am not able to provide the model. Do you have some general remarks or ideas to this problem?

There are a lot of articles available about meshing issues.

Also take a look at the picture at the end of this page.

It's about a distorted parabolic element. Could this be happening in your model too?

thank you for your response. I am afraid my model has plenty of potential for distorted parabolic elements. I will have to work on that. Have you got some advise how to "debug" my model. Is there some output of the mesher to identify the problematic areas?
