Greetings, I am using nonlinear analysis and material property options for a concrete structure, and I want to utilize the low tensile stress limit (650 psi) and compressive limit (4,000 psi) to use for failure criteria. I select to use the "Nonlinear" option in the material applicator, and I am curious if anyone knows what the "Yield Curve Type" is for, as depicted in the attached image "Material Property-1.jpg" file? I went to the help, and the same dialog box is depicted in the second attachment, "Material Property-2.jpg" file but does not contain the same inputs. Secondly, I have experimented with solid, shell and beam elements and have cycled thru all options in the nonlinear dialog box for "Type," "Hardening Rule," and "Yield Criterion" but the input never becomes available. Is this a bug or does anyone know what these inputs are for and how they can be activated?

Hi Jeff,
The dialog in the Help (your image 2) is from an older version. The current software (your image 1) has additional input which is active when the analysis type is Explicit Dynamics.
