Hello,

I'm a new user for nastran i had experiences on hyperworks.

when i try to perform analyse on the .pdf document i receive below error on the new f06 document.

actually i think it's not related to a mistake on the model because even if i try to analyse nastran training document i receive the same error again. I believe that the problem is related to the computer or the settings that i'm using right now. you may see the error details down

ı'm usign Nastran 2016 & windows 8.1 is the softwares.

Could you please help me to understand the problem ?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

This error message isn't familiar... I don't think you are using Autodesk Nastran.  We do not generate a f06 log file.  Our equivalent log file has an extension of *.out.

A google search of your error message suggests it may be either MSC or NX Nastran. Here are some possible solutions from the search.

From MSC:

For some large jobs on Windows 32 with low memory request, the job may fail
in DECOMP when using Metis reordering. Several error messages may appear.
The error message may or may not say it was an error in Metis. In each case
there would be an access violation due to an allocation error.

From NX (Siemens):

https://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/CAE-Simulation-Femap-Forum/Access-violation-quot-C0000005/td-p/315278

Thanks,

James
