Linear Static Crashes when clicking run

I am analyzing a jig and had no issues running the analysis previously. I then switched out the mounting arm to an updated design and when I click run, it will get to about 20% Generating Nastran File, and then crash the software and show a crash report. This would make me think it is some sort of issue resulting from switching out the mounting arm. Has anybody had an issue like this or know of any particular issues that would result in this problem?

Thanks!

Hello @zondashF5M2Q ,

It's hard to tell what is causing the crash.  Did you try to run a simple analysis on just the new mounting arm?

Which version of Inventor are you using?

If you post the model we'd be happy to take a look.

The analysis is working for just the mounting arm. I have also been getting some meshing failed errors when using it on the entire assembly. I have to use a larger mesh size than I would like to make it not have an error. Mesh works fine on just the part and analysis runs fine on just the part, but crashes the program every time I click run with I have it in the assembly.

I'm running up to date 2023

No I am not able to share the model for privacy reasons.

I have since resolved this issue by simplifying some geometry, exporting to STEP file, and importing back to Inventor.
