Good afternoon, I am a new Inventor user (recently switching from Solidworks). I was asked to do a fatigue study on a slide mechanism, and I'm having issues with the solve. I'm getting the error "mesh does not contain any nodes or elements." From looking at the forums, looks like it means the contacts and loads are not working with the mesh. I already did place gravity, and a force into the model, and the mesh completed successfully. I tried doing a pack and go, however even zipped, the file size is too large to upload. Would someone be able to help me get this working?
Hi @shauneU5QAC
The warnings indicate there are four parts that are not meshed in the model. Are there four parts that are not meshed? (I can't tell from the image if everything shown in meshed or not. Are there parts that are hidden and not meshed? Are there parts in the model that do not appear in the list in Nastran?)
If the model is in fact okay (or okay for your analysis needs), use tip 8 in the PDF document attached to my forum post Suggested Reading - Tips and Tricks on the Inventor Nastran forum to ignore the warnings and let the analysis run.

Thank you. I found that it was 4 tiny bushings inside this assembly that I had forgotten about. I will check out the tips and tricks section as soon as I can.
