HOW NASTRAN_IN_CAD PERFORM MULTIAXIAL FATIGUE ANALISYS?

Godmorning,

i have a question about the workflow that Nastran_in_cad use about multiaxial fatigue analisys. If i have a force or a torque with variations on time history, the software follow a workfolw like the pictures?

if have a torque like this picture, and  i insert the all number in the torque's table: ( torque from real measure)

1) The software perform in automatic a Rainflow countin and produce an stress range histogram?

2) Nastran use a plamgren-miner's rule's to perform a fatigue life estimations?

Hi @pizze

The answer to question 1) is that is uses a rainflow method, so I assume it uses a stress histogram (like the next step in your workflow).

The answer to question 2) is yes, the analysis uses the Palmgren Miner.
