Hi team,
I've been dedicating quite a lot of time to this and wanted some advice or perhaps to be pointed towards a relevant tutorial as I can't seem to find one. The closest I have found is here although its useful it doesn't answer all my questions.

I have a steel frame that has been created in inventor frame generator. On this frame is a piece of vibratory equipment for a process plant that vibrates at 9-13.5 Hz with an applied load of plus/minus 1800N in the vertical and 400N in the horizontal.
I want to complete both a vibration analysis to verify the applied vibration is acceptable and also a modal analysis.
I have set up a Direct frequency response using a frequency range between 6 and 20 Hz.
In addition to gravity and static mass of the machine, I have set up a force using Fy=400 and Fz=-1800 plus a load factor table as attached. Is this correct using load factor of -1 at 0 Hz and +1 at 13.5 Hz? or do I have to include more points in the load table in order to correctly represent a sinusoidal force application? Or am I completely wrong...
Any advice on how to select damping values for an analysis such as this would be amazing too. Thanks so much in advance for any suggestions.
