Hello,
I am using AME and Inventor Nastran to predict failure of a Short-Fiber Composite by matching it with experiments.
Now I have given in input of Advanced Material exchange the original plaque with fiber orientation from Moldflow, the inventor sample cut from the plaque on which we do the tensile test, and finally the table of material strength S-S obtained from experiment.
The fitted Stress-Strain data calculated by AME matches somewhat the experiment as supposed to and also give a correct failure point, but when I export the map results on Inventor Nastran with Importing a structural model to simulate the tensile test, the sample only breaks after a significantly higher strain and stress.
It seems Inventor Nastran doesn't use the failure point given by AME.
Is there any way, option or parameter I can change to get the failure I expect? How does Nastran use AME export to predict failure?
