Pull Item Number from Different Assembly's BOM

When you first attempt to add an item balloon to an assembly on a drawing which doesn't have a BOM enabled (structured/parts only) you are prompted to select the type of BOM you want to enable and pull from. At the top of this box is a Source file. PLEASE!!! Let me change the source file Assembly. That way I can define a 'MASTER' assembly and pull ALL of the part numbers in reference to that assembly. Then I can use the same parts in different assemblies and not struggle 'manually' overwriting all of the parts numbers in the balloons to match it's 'MASTER' assembly

Thinking about it a little more.

This functionality could even be extended to apply to parts. Attempting to attach a Item ball to a part on a drawing (not inside an assembly) could offer the same window allowing me to pull from the structured or parts only list of a parent or master assembly.
