Hello,
I have two suggestions for working with cloud points in Inventor.
- When sketching on a plane it would be good to be able to "project cut edges" of a scan, and maybe even project a depth of points, for example being able to project points for a specified distance perpendicular to the plane that the sketch is on.
- When I crop a scan often I make several crops from different angles so that I have the correct amount of points remaining in the right part of the scan. It would be good to be able to "uncrop" individual crops from a drop down list or something, instead of having to uncrop everything. Also it would be good to be able to make and save different crops of different areas of a scan and turn them on and off.
