Tube and Hose Lengths in Feet NOT Inches

Tube and Hose Lengths in Feet NOT Inches

All,

I was recently asked for a way to convert the BOM lengths of hose runs from inches to feet.  After doing a bunch of stuff, including reaching out to the forums for assistance (link here), I just couldn't get it to work.  Therefore, we wrote an external iLogic code to convert items with BOM base quantities from inches to feet.  However, I would like to see a non-iLogic way to manage these hose runs in the BOM.

Could we get a toggle added to the BOM to change the units there?

Otherwise, could we get the ability to publish a new hose part and have it keep the base units at the time of publishing?  It just seems like the inches are hardcoded into the tube and pipe run somehow...

Anyway, if someone has a solution or other comments, please pass them along!  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to commment or contact me directly, but I recommend checking out the forum post first.  Hope all is well and have a most blessed day!

Peace,

Pete
