Sketch Visibility / States Dialog Box for Wholesale Visibility Changes

Sketch Visibility / States Dialog Box for Wholesale Visibility Changes

All,

Good morning!  Occasionally I create complex design sketch parts to drive iLogic and / or skeletal model based designs and these generally have several sketches to build the different parts of an assembly.  This requires me to turn on and off different configurations of sketches in order to build the parts and subassemblies.  Instead of turning them all on, like this idea, or having to right click on individual sketches in the browser to toggle the visibility on or off, I would love to have a one-stop-shop dialog box where I could toggle the visibility state of several different sketches from my model and then click OK.  This could save a bunch of time in more complex models.  I have some "award winning" screenshots below to try and illustrate the idea, but please let me know if you have any questions.  Hope all is well and have a most blessed day!

Peace,

Pete

I forgot to include a link to the idea that suggests turning all of the sketches' visibility on and off.

What about adding a next small column beside the browser with light (like for layers) for one-clicking the sketches on/off?!?

Kay,

Good morning!  I think that could work very well, also.  Part of what I was thinking was being able to bring up a table right in the drawing window, to cut down on some mouse travel.  Not a big deal, but I like the marking menus and mini - toolbars that Autodesk has added to Inventor the past few releases and my idea would just continue in that vein.

An additional idea to piggy back on my first idea would be to create sketch groups to quickly turn on and off several sketches all at once.  That would be even more efficient.  Thanks for the feedback, hope all is well and have a most blessed day!

Peace,

Pete
