Sheet Metal Flange Width offset from plane (not face)

Currently (2024) when I create a flange and set the type to Width and check the Offset radio button the selector will let me point to a face to offset from. In the early stages of my design I know that the geometry will change but I know that I want my flange to be x mm from centre. I cannot select the XZ Plane as my offset reference.

 

Please allow the offset to be from the origin planes or user work planes as well as model faces.
