Hello.

I have had to generate numerous sheet parts with flanges in a similar position as shown:

Inventor is happy to do this, but a valid flat pattern cannot be generated, since the 2 flanges interfere:

In order to get to a useable pattern requires a number of additional steps, such those shown by @Anonymous and @JDMather here.

What I would like to see is Inventor pre-calculate the unfold operation prior to generating the flanges and offer alternatives, such a mid-angle miter, trim one or both flanges, etc.
