Resolve Files from Content Libraries

Resolve Files from Content Libraries

When distributing assemblies between users, the components which are missing are most commonly found to be Content Center parts.

When using Resolve File on the assembly, it would be great to have CC parts generated straight from the Content Library.  Alternatively, allowing the Refresh command in the Manage ribbon to pull down missing files would also be a good help.

Thanks.

Great idea Scott.

I do not see any reason why instances of Content Center files should be made in first place. Since they all are predefined math models, inventor should be able to use them without making any instance of them at all. Same goes for iParts and iAssemblies.

when Inventor cant find some parts (most of the time content center parts) it gives the main assembly a question mark. with this you are incapible of doing a variety of things with the drawing of that assembly.

inventor cant pinpoint the sub assembly where the part is missing. when you encounter this problem you have to search manualy through every sub assembly to find the missing parts. It would be very helpful to make a function where inventor can find this missing parts.
