Please reorganize the Application Options, Document Settings and Projects.
1) Move all file(-name) and path related Application Options and Document Settings to Projects
Why: filenames, file and path locations, and also sheet names can vary from project to project and shall be defined inside project files.
2) Move all display related Document Settings to the Display Application Options
Why: display options are an user choice. Each user has its own favorite display design, similar to the color schemes. Display options shall be saved in the user account only (the Application Options) only.
3) Move all color Document Settings to the Colors Application Options
Why: the sheet color is AFAIK only used to protect our eyesight 😎, and is never used for printing.
All other colors are managed inside color schemes. So why is not the sheet color?
4) Move all sketch related Display Settings and Creation Settings Document Options to the Sketch Application Options
Why: Sketch Display Options are temporary for the same reason as the Application Display Options (see #2) ) are, and shall be moved to the Application Options too.
5) Move all part creation and part update related Document Settings to the Part Application Options
Why: Options to create new parts or new changes shall in my opinion be managed globally in the Application Options.
6) Move asembly creation Document Settings to the Assembly Application Options
Why: For the same reason as #5)
7) Move all drawing creation Document Settings to the Drawing Application Options
Why: For the same reason as #5) and #6)
8 ) Move tolerance creation Settings to the Styles and Standards
Why: For the same reason as #5), #6) and #7). Also, tolerances are mostly defined in a standard like ISO, DIN or ANSI and shall be defined in these standards.
