Origin Folder Placed Above Model States Folder in Browser

Move the Origin folder above the Model States folder.  Sometime all we may need is to select an origin plane, axis, or point to constrain a part or sub-assembly.  This would reduce clicks to navigating to the Origin folder and also keep the browser cleaner.

GOOD POINT BUT BETTER YET WOULD BE TO FREEZE THE ORIGIN, MODEL STATES, REPRESENTATIONS, AND RELATIONSHIPS AT THE TOP WHEN SCROLLING THE BROWSER

As more and more entries are added to the Browser and since we can dock browser windows.  Is it time to pull the Top of the Browser tree which are the IAM's attributes into a separate browser pane.  Like iLogic, Vault, Model.....

I'm thinking it would include these attributes:

  • Relationships
  • Representations
  • Annotations
  • Origins
  • Model states

A separate browser/pane would greatly reduce the scrolling up and down, expanding and re-expanding.

The attributes for the components of an iam would still reside under the component in the browser.
