Mate Conical Face

In an assembly I can define a “Mate” constraint between a straight edge and a planar face (1). Why can’t I do the same between a circular edge and a conical face (2)? It should be quite straightforward and is geometrically safe.

I know the workaround to place a tiny chamfer on the edge. But that is not always possible to do. And to use auxiliary work features is very time consuming.

Also very helpful would be, when change the model form MIN - MAX or Middle, that it can also include the geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. (GD&T)
It is a must for tolerances analysis when we implement GPS tolerancing in models.

I miss this feature so much, would make my life way easier, when I have to abut a screw with a conical seating on the screw stop surface it always gets messed up if the tolerance of one of the sides changes, to make it work I have to always add a false radius to create a tangential touching surface. Too much effort for something that could be simply solved with the above-given idea.

Hola, es muy buena mejora. Solicite que estudiasen mejorar este comportamiento creando mas opciones de posicionamiento.

1. De cara a Línea desde puntos.
2. Línea a punto.
3. de superficie a línea desde puntos
4. Podemos tener muchas opciones de posicionamiento con la opción "DESDE"

Hay un programa con el que estuve trabajando que tenia esta herramienta muy bien desarrollada, podíamos decir como posicionar las piezas con la herramienta (DESDE). Estuve haciendo un panel de colaboración para intentar que cogiera fuerza esta idea, pero no fue posible, espero que tu idea coja suficientes votos, es muy buena mejora.
