It would be great, after the change of the parameter name in the parameter list also in the iPart table the parameter Name will be changed.

I agree 100% iPart/iAssembly improvements need to be made.

As I wrote three years ago, that's a great idea.
I would have written the idea myself if it wasn't already here.

@dusan.naus.trz @Frodl @senali @Genicee When using Edit Member Scope, renaming parameters will be synced to iPart/iAssembly table. It works fine. That means you can make the workflow working using edit member scope and switch back to edit factory scope for downstream workflow. Does it make sense to you? Thanks!

@Yijiang.Cai Thank you for your interest. Yes, what you write makes sense to me, changing the name in the iPart/iAssembly table and the name of the parameter will also change - that's ok. What if I change the parameter name in the parameter table. Also, does my name sync with the iPart/iAssembly table? Will it work two ways? What do you think?

@dusan.naus.trz I suppose you make some misunderstanding here, and would like to make it clear here.

1. Using the "Edit Member Scope" for iPart/iAssembly

2. Renaming the parameters in parameters table, and these parameters are used in iPart/iAssembly table

3. The name of parameters in table will be changed automatically.

If we use "Edit Factory Scope" in Step #1, the renaming parameters will not be updated in the table.

So I suggest to use "Edit Member Scope" before renaming parameters.

Hope it clear for you now. Many thanks!
