Dear Autodesk Team,
There are two ways to export a drawing to AutoCAD from Inventor. The first method involves saving the drawing as an AutoCAD .dwg file. The second method is to import views or sections from Inventor using the Design Center in AutoCAD. With the second approach, it is possible to update all the imported sections and views in AutoCAD after they have been modified in the Inventor drawing.
However, there is a drawback to the second method: the hatches present in the Inventor drawing do not transfer as hatch patterns to AutoCAD. It would be highly beneficial to have these Inventor hatches represented as hatch patterns in AutoCAD, when using the Design Center to import views and sections into AutoCAD from Inventor
Best Regards,
