Our company is currently considering adopting the UNI 16792 standard for the implementation of the MBD method.
The standard provides for various levels of implementation, ranging from Level 1 (standard methodology, i.e. no MBD method) to Level 5 (full transition to the MBD method).
At present, Inventor does not allow for Level 5 implementation, as many features relating to the application of PMIs are missing.
In particular, for sheet metal models, it is not possible to apply information relating to bends or to call up bending tables.
We are therefore forced to use the standard in a hybrid manner (Level 3).
I hope this area will be developed and improved, and I urge you to do so.
