This one is really a no-brainer, and without excuse as to why it does not already exist in the Inventor UI. Why is the Inventor user limited to only being to select solid bodies within the view pane, and not the feature browser pane also, while doing direct edits to the model? This is frustrating and makes the selection of larger numbers of solid bodies painful when window selecting is not a viable option. Please make this possible in the next minor software patch update. There was many developments in the past years in file import (AnyCAD) but not so much in the export. Just as it says. Top level assembly associative patterns need to be capable of selecting lower level assembly patterns for their references. Doing so would alleviate much time wasted when altered lower level patterns do not correctly update their upper assembly level mating components.   Show More

Update the languages of the samples to include VB.NET.    A user is faced to learn VBA and or convert VBA code in order to start working in ilogic editor. Not entirely useful for any beginner. Please can you add the ability to shift / ctrl select given model states in the feature tree.   There are occasions where only certain groups of model states require edit. At present only 1 or all states can be edited using the pencil toggle.   e.g. In an assembly file, in the feature tree under model states, I have Part 1A, Part 1B (based on part 1A), part 2A, Part 2B (based on part 2A).   I only want to apply edits to Part 1A and Part 1B, not parts 2A or 2B.
