Flat pattern Orientation option

I would like to have the option to set the flat pattern, to be true the X,Y,Z axis. I want this to be a setting in the sheetmetal template or in the Inventor options. At the present Inventor "optimizes" the flat patterns from time to time. We use iLogic to extract the Sheet Metal Extents, and this is done automaticly, but gives some strange results due to the rotation. I know I can set this straight after the flat pattern is created, but that's just what I want to avoid. I beleive a simple setting like this could make life  so much easier.
