It would be useful to enable the dimension command in Inventor Read-Only. Our workflow allows someone with access to a computer to take measurements from Inventor drawings. Currently the only way to take measurements is with the "measure" command. This produces accurate measurements but is not very intuitive for someone who is not familiar with using Inventor.
Our workflow allows several people in our organization to use Inventor Read-Only to view drawings and models. We find this incredibly useful both for fabricators and project managers to use Inventor without worry of breaking a model. The downside is that these users are very unfamiliar with the Inventor drawing environment. If our drafting team misses a dimension, it can be cumbersome for these inexperienced Read-Only users to use the unfamiliar "Measure" command.
