I have search and only found one APP (thanks CoolOrange) that partly works with the problem below!
Using the embedded worksheet functionality - which import points to the Parameters Embedding - is good. But, it is only usable if you manually dimension all point(XYZ) and associate each dimension with the embedded name e.g. d11 = x_15, afterwards! (For 15 point multiple by 3 coordinates equals 45 dimension this is asome much work to do!)
If you try to associate these parameters with X/YZ dimension through the Sketch 3D Move/Rotate it is possible to show and – at first - use these Embedded parameter, BUT
Although you think - apparently the parameters are listed and it is showed that the point are moved - this is NOT the case!
The parameter will NOT be associated with the point which can be verified if you reenter the point and recognize that the old position is retained!
Therefore I post this idea to the IdeaStation:
- ADD THE FUNCTIONALITY TO THE REDEFINE ALIGNMENT OR POSITION THAT EMBEDDED PARAMETERS CAN BE ASSOCIATED WITH POINTS.
