Using planes and axes is a good way of constraining, since the assembly better copes with future changes to the parts involved. The planes are of course by default hidden, so you need to find them in the side browser. But you need to do several clics to get access to the planes. It would be nice if the planes could emerge automatically when hovering over a part.
