Dimension Break Option to be brought into Inventor like in Fusion 360

Hey Guys,

Some of my customers who are pro users of Inventor have started to ask for the Dimension Break option in the Inventor Drawing environment like in Fusion 360.

This sounds like a feature any detailing software should have, surprised to see that this feature is not available in the Inventor drawing interface.

Still not available. Sad...sad.....

This is really appalling, both dimension and extension lines should be continuous, with any breaks carefully considered to avoid confusion! As someone stated above "ASME Y14.5" is not the only standard, SEE - ISO 128.

I shouldn't mention this but i also use Solidworks, this option is like basic from their earliest versions, the work is just more presentable - " Click two adjacent extension lines right click break" Happy customer, please add something

Still waiting.

It appears a lot of users have an affinity of bad drafting habits.  Breaking dimension lines (other than for text) has NEVER been a proper drafting practice.  It does happen in some office standards, but I wouldn't expect Inventor to accommodate office standards.

Still no way to break intersecting dim lines? it doesn't seem like it should be something on the back burner when it is one of the most basic things in drafting design.
