Dialog box management

Either always place dialog boxes in the working area of Inventor or add a command to quickly fetch all dialog boxes into the working area of Inventor, with some sort of visual warning that you have "out of bounds" dialog boxes.

I know you can play around with the "move" commands but this is both insufficient and this issue has been around for way to long for it to be ok in a professional environment.

Totaly agree. Very anoing when working on double or triple screens and when taking out your laptop to acustomer and look like a total idiot, not finding the dialog box.

Or when you leave the computer to work on something and it turns out it was just standing there since there was an "out-of-bounds" dialog box blocking progress.
Man, I have lost so many hours to stuff like that.

I have wanted a solution for years.

Inventor and/or Windows commonly hide dialog boxes, especially if I move another application to the front of the screen.

It is almost impossible to find the lost dialog box, because the Windows Alt-Tap switcher does not display them.

Hits from Autodesk sites are on the first page of results for the Google search query "dialog off screen."

This is not a good sign.

In the sales pipeline, Autodesk employees tell me that they hunt for windows every day.

This bug has existed for years and years and years. It will likely never be fixed, because all development effort is focused on the Fusion 360 gamified cloud-based microtransaction extortion & lock-in platform.

The situation is hopeless. Even with decades of CAD experience, being a new Inventor user is a frustrating exercise in speedrunning basic unfixed usability issues that have existed for literally decades. The nearly five hundred pages of feature requests in this forum are a testament to the futility of screaming into the void.
