Dark mode for Inventor

I personally think to add a dark mode to Inventor is a great idea, as many users who use Inventor are staring into there monitors/screen for a long period of time and I believe this feature would reduce eye strain and it would also give fusion a classic look and feel, and also let the user the option of how dark and light they what there UI to be. (Example below)

if this is not possible an alternative feature could be a blue light filter which also reduces eye strain.

Bit too far, I can wear sunglasses on a sunny day and the colour is wonderful fo autumn leaves, its more the white of Inventor and something that can be changed unlike the sky.

Make it Dark!

A request to introduce a dark theme in Inventor. From the opinions of friends and the forum, it appears that the introduction of a new, bright menu is not good for many users. When working on a large screen or multiple screens, a bright theme terribly tires eyes. Seeing in which direction other professional programs are developing (ex. Solidworks, Adobe Premiere, Ligtroom, Vegas, Steiberg, Corel and even new update for OS Microsoft Windows 10) and looking at the great background in the AutoCad program, it seems to me that the user should have a choice between light and dark.

Why have 5 themes to choose from (like in the adobe screenshot on top) , a slider to darken things would be my preference, then you could individually adjust it to your lightning condition at your workplace.

Please, can you people at Autodesk add a Dark Mode/Theme? It's very irritating when almost all applications now have a dark mode, except for Inventor!

We definitely hear you,  I for one love dark themes when using other apps as well and look forward to having it in Inventor. We are working on a dark theme and would love to get it to you all as soon as we can. That said there are over 7K icons and hundreds of dialog boxes that need to be converted and coded to switch themes. The Property Panel work we are doing will help us with this transition although we still have a bit of work to wrap up the Property Panel work. We are trying to prioritize accordingly and get something to you all as fast as we can, that said I don't have a timeline yet but wanted you all to know its something we are working on and look forward to adding it to Inventor.

Changing the interface, topics, icons is not appropriate. I like very
much the following topic. With good contrast and well-outlined
drawings of icons. Easily recognizable and intuitive.

@garin: I think I have been a fan of this idea since the very beginning, when an alpha of a dark GUI for inventor has been shown to some restricted number of customers in October 2016.

When you will push out this new option, please do not forget to give also guidelines for addin writers, so that they will be in the condition to design their own icons in an harmonic way with the rest of the GUI elements. I tried to ask @jason_hetu for that information, but he replied that I would get it... and nothing else happened... maybe he forgot me.

Also the possibility to have one icon for Cobalt and one icon for Amber would be important, as some people still prefer Amber

Right now I there is noway to define a different ico for Cobalt or Amber (or maybe I was too stupid to find it).

Please keep in mind all these details: they are important in case of a GUI facelift (or "botox injection", as you prefer to see that).
