Inventor contains a border with zones by default. The zones of this border have a fixed size. When the size of the sheet changes the amount of zones is changed accordenly. I like to enlarge the left space only of the border to follow the ISO standard. It is not possible to change the sketch of this default border.
When I create a custom border with zones I can define the width of every side, which is exactly what I missed in the default version. But the zones I defined (named A, B, C and 1,2,3) do not keep the fix size. When change the sheet size from A4 to A0 the zones are much bigger.
I wish to be able to change the default border definiton like the custom border but keep the correct behavior of correcting the amount of zones when the sheet size is changed.
iLogic is a (weak) solution:
1) The rule must be triggered when the sheet size is changed. (Is this possible?)
2) iLogic code is open for editing and can be damaged by users.
.net custom made app:
1) Technical possible but needs to be updated every time when upgrading to the next Inventor release.
2) Not supported by Autodesk when issues pop up.
Both routes are not my choices, this behavior must fixed in the standard software.
All comparable CAD systems can do this, why not Inventor?
