Command aliases

While the idea of having multi character aliases seems to be nice at first glance, if I think about it that is rather unnecessary. For me the aliases are an important tool to speed up my work. E.g. typing “d“ starts the dimension command. Having to confirm the shortcut with an extra key stroke is kinda counter-productive. I would rather see only single character aliases.

I am aware that there is a setting to use only single characters. However, in the last versions of Inventor the setting was occasionally ignored. And now with version 2014 it has gotten worse. After every program start I have to run to the settings and reset all keyboard commands to get my single character behaviour back.
