Change inventor drawing thumbnail picture and file type.

The Inventor drawings that are saved out as a copy to an Autocad drawing look exactly the same. They both have the same thumbnail picture and are both named as the same file type. This is extremely confusing and people must create two separate folders in order to keep track of them. I propose that you change the thumbnail picture or the file type name or both for the inventor drawing! This would allow you to keep all of the drawings together and would save time of creating separate folders and/or fixing a mistake by saving in the wrong folder and have to go back and separate them.

To avoid this confusion, try saving Inventor Drawings in IDW format instead of DWG.

Having different icons for different files with the same extension is not possible with Windows, as Windows assigns icons to the different file extension types based on the default "open with" software saved in the registry.
