Preface: Update and Save an assembly. CheckIn. If you immediately CheckOut, it wants to update again why?
On open, I believe there is a prompt asking to update. You can set it to "yes, and never ask me again" so it will just update to check whatever it needs to check. The following is the idea request. Inventor will start updating the assembly, but as it cycles thru all parts and sub-assemblies it will stop repeatedly asking for an OK to continue (or cancel). Can we at least have another "Prompts" option for "yes, and never ask me again" at this level of the process too? So aggravating on a large assembly if you get asked every 15-20 seconds for an OK to proceed to update the next sub-assembly or part. Let us go for another coffee or bathroom break and come back to an updated model that is ready to go.
