Ascending/descending value in pattern

I wish there is a way to pattern ascending/descending numberings/alphabets in sketch.

Actually Inventor has this kind of functionality built in default border (in drawing). I just want it to be universally usable in all sketches..

On pattern tool just select ascending or descending value.

The result should look something like this.

By this operation you can naturally create borders on drawing but more important you can create dimension scales for laser marking etc (easily).
