AnyCAD for Plant3D

AnyCAD for Plant3D

A very welcome feature would be AnyCAD for Plant3D.  I am responsible for the CAD workflow at the company that I work for. This is a major hurdle for us. We need to be able to create drawings that contain both Inventor models and Plant 3D piping.

Naviswork does import both formats perfectly. I would like to see the same seamless workflow between Inventor and Plant 3D. Navisworks is not the answer here.. because we are not able to create drawings from Navisworks.

I think AnyCAD is a good change for Inventor and it makes the software more versatile to be able to import models from other 3D CAD product. That being said, I feel that the integration between Autodesks own software landscape is lacking a bit in this department.

I would like to see AnyCAD for plant 3D as well?

Completely agree. In fact, it's funny how Inventor can already link native Revit files (which has been requested for many years) with Anycad, but it cannot make it with 3D DWGs. Revit actually links the DWGs in 3D. I think it is about time that they enable this functionality, including AutoCAD MEP, architecture or Civil3D objects.
