Add Pocket Hole Option to the Hole Feature

Add Pocket Hole Option to the Hole Feature

Pocket Holes are HUGE in woodworking right now and I think it would be amazing to add Pocket Holes to Inventor and give Inventor a competitive edge over other software platforms. Inventor already has the options to use wooden Materials and Appearances so it must envision wood workers using their software and this would be such a great add to take it to the next level!

This feature could be a stand alone option (almost like a Sheet Metal add-in) or could get nested under the Hole 'Type" as a separate option similar to countersink or counterbore (likely the easiest). Would need a new Fastener Type - something along the lines of a Round Head Wood Screw. If hardware were added to the library later you could mimic the lengths available from systems such as Kreg. I don't think its critical to require the screw length when declaring the hole however you would need a place to select your orthogonal reference face and the ability to input the drill depth (could also be achieved by inputting screw length or material thicknesses).

Would be great to take it a step further and even add things like pocket hole plugs and screws to the content library but as your primary audience is engineering and fabricating I understand if there isn't a huge demand for woodworking needs (but there should be!).

Thanks for listening!
